I was breaking the millennial mold! I purchased my first home at 23 years old. I was paying down debt and investing money wisely. I was listening and learning from people who had ‘been there and done that.’ I started this blog after losing my job in November of 2016 when I was instantly thrust back into that category of another jobless millennial. The world is a tough place, especially for this generation. I strive to provide as much value and make as big of an impact as possible to people who need it.
I aspire to one day be an executive coach and trainer. I have a passion for training and development and get the most fulfillment out of using my enthusiasm to inspire and lead people to learn something new.
I’ve lived in Charlotte, NC for 20 years. I love it here. The city continues to grow at a breakneck pace. New people from all over the world are moving here which adds to the cultural melting pot. There’s always something new to see and do, and always someone new to meet. During my free time, I enjoy being outdoors. I’m a huge disc golf fan and am lucky to live in one of the ‘disc golf meccas’. You can catch me on the course anytime the weather is nice. I enjoy spending time with my family, my girlfriend, and my two cats.
Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me, personally. You can find me on Facebook at the ‘Another Jobless Millennial’ page, LinkedIn, or by dropping me a line at AJoblessMillennial@Gmail.com.
